The East of Eden star Song Seung Heon won the Daesang (Grand Prize) award for his role of Dong Chul in EOE. His costars Han Ji Hye and Lee Yeon Hee also won awards. Many netizens feel that Song Seung Heon does not deserve the award comparing to Kim Mying-Min, the star of Beethoven Virus.Both share the Daesang award. They feel that MBC gave the award to Song just to please him since it's his first comeback since the army.
