Korean stars have come together to help out the victims of a devastating earthquake in China. Celebrities who joined the recording of “I Love Asia,” a joint earthquake relief project, at a studio in southern Seoul included singer/producer Park Jin-young, Wonder Girls, Kim Dong-wan of Shinhwa, SHINee, Horan and Alex from Clazziquai, Brown Eyed Girls, skating champion Kim Yu-na, actress Kim Ah-jung, actor Park Yong-ha, and Hong Kong movie star Jackie Chan.

Conducted behind closed doors, the recording of the song “I Love Asia” was led by Park Jin-young. The song was written and composed by Park himself and contains a message of hope for Chinese earthquake victims as well as all Asians. All the proceeds from the project album will be donated to the people of Sichuan Province.

Meanwhile, singer Jang Nara is flying to Chengdu, provincial capital of Sichuan, to deliver relief aids. Jang will donate 274,000 yuan (about $47,000) collected by her fan club for the construction of the Jang Nara Hope School, and deliver clothes, medicine and other relief goods worth $120,000 from the Korea Food for the Hungry International, where Jang is an honorary PR ambassador.

After her visit to Chengdu, Jang will fly to Vietnam on Saturday and hold a concert with Vietnamese singers on June 1
