Finally, I had the chance to watch My Blueberry Nights on a lazy Sunday night. It reminds me a lot of Chungking Express with all the settings and characters. I quite enjoyed it in contrast to the bad reviews that I read. Jude's character reminds me of Takeshi Kaneshiro in Chungking Express. He is very charming. ^^

So I grabbed out of boredom in my dvd downloaded movies Boku Wa Imoto Ni Koi Wo Suru aka My Sister, My Love adapted from the popular manga and anime to watch. Being used to watching slow movies I didn't mind this one. This one even beats Sukida in terms of slow movies!Some scenes freeze for like 30 seconds I thought the player was freezing!





The story:Boy loves girl , girl loves boy, however they are brothers and sisters.It is a tabu topic and hard to watch. I kind of felt uneasy about certain scenes...The frames and shots are very artsy like empty classrooms, reminds me of Long love letter.It puts you in a certain mood.
The saddest thing about it is that loving someone but knowing that you can't be never with that person, that was heart wrenching.




Also, I just came back from watching Iron Man a while ago since a certain someone wanted to go see it. It is surprisingly a good movie considering the fact that it is american.I am not a fan of science fiction, comic action heroes movies but this move was witty and fun to watch.


Is it me or iron man's face looks like a cat?

So I went to see the Forbidden Kingdom last Saturday with friends despite having finals, crazy yes.The scenery was beautiful and the fighting scenes were good but something was lacking for me.






Love story, yes. I am so used watching chinese series where the guy jumps 10 times off the cliff and doesn't die and then the girl rescues him and then she gets poisoned etc. This is the plot that I want aha. Okaii, back to the movie. I didn't like the story line and the main character (not Jackie Chan or Jet Li), the white guy.


He looks like he came off from Star Trek or something...And Luu Yi Fei was too tanned!I don't understand why her skin color is darker at leat 3x than her real color.



Li Bing Bing as the evil bitch, she was good even though there were not many scenes with her. During her fighting scenes, I hoped for her white haired wig to fall off......ehe.Overall it was a good movie, only too predicting and no deep story line for my taste.

It is 3:39am now. I just took a nap earlier, now I can't sleep. The semester is over soon, 2 more days of hell.I shouldn't be here writing this.
