South Korean actress Kim Ha-neul, who left for Vietnam to promote her hit film "My Girlfriend is an Agent", was greeted by over 100 fans upon her arrival at the airport on Saturday past midnight.

"We were quite surprised by the loud cheering when she walked out the gate. Her fans had been waiting for her although we arrived in the middle of the night," an official at her agency J.One+ Entertainment was quoted saying in a press release on Monday.

Fans also gathered at various venues throughout Ho Chi Minh city the following day to see the 31-year-old actress at premieres and a red carpet event, J.One+ added.

Kim is set to visit Hanoi today to hold additional events including a fan meeting, premieres and press conferences. She will continue her promotional activities in Singapore and Hong Kong from October 26 to 31.

Kim has starred in numerous hit TV dramas and movies, including SBS TV series "On Air" last year and hit film "My Tutor Friend" in 2003 with fellow Hallyu star Kwon Sang-woo.

"Agent", a comedy action film co-starring Kang Ji-hwan, is about a couple who are both hiding from each other about being secret government agents. The film attracted over four million moviegoers in Korea.

Actress Kim Ha-neul to Appear in Cho Sung-mo's Music Video



It is the first time in 11 years since she appeared in a music video for Cho’s debut song in 1998

Actress Kim Ha-neul will work with singer Cho Sung-mo for the first time in 11 years. Yedang Entertainment, her agency, said Wednesday that Kim is to shoot a music video for Cho’s new song “I Was Happy” on Friday.

In 1998, Kim, who had then just started her acting career, appeared in the music video for the singer’s debut song “To Heaven” along with star Lee Byung-hun. And she succeeded in making her name known through it.

“It makes me remember my old days. It will be fun,” she said. “I will give my best like I did when I debuted so that I can contribute to its success.”

Kim will release her new film “Secret Film” on April 23 and take part in Korea-Japan co-production drama “Paradise.”

Actress Kim Ha-neul has said that she is excited about trying her hand at playing an action character. She has been cast in the upcoming film "My Girlfriend is an Agent".

The spy comedy is directed by Sin Tae-ra and the male lead is played by Kang Ji-hwan. The story is about two secret agents who fall in love while hiding their profession from each other. The film is scheduled for a 2009 release.

Kim Ha-neul was in cinemas earlier this year with the melodrama "Lovers of 6 Years" and starred in the popular comedy "My Tutor Friend" alongside Kwon Sang-woo. Kang Ji-hwan has ample experience with action scenes after his fight scenes with So Ji-sub in "Rough Cut". Sin Tae-ra directed last year's praised "Black House".

The famous actress Kim Ha Neul (30 years old) is challenging her new image in the upcoming drama On Air. Her character Oh Seung Ah is a famous actress who is such an arrogant, self-conceited, and highly ambitous person.

In the recent interview while filming outside scenes in Taiwan, Kim Ha Neul says "Oh Seung Ah is the role that has more personalities than any other characters that I have done. That's why I have a little nervous about it. The role is not only a “hateful” character but also an attractive person. I think this will be a unique chance for me to show my acting skill; so I couldn't let it go."

She is continuing to say "When I read an article which stated that four main actors wanted to put their names on the top, it made me feel sad. I knew it when Yun Ah gave the article to me to read. I have never requested anything from the producer because I don't care much about those things. In the past few years, I just cooperated with the young casts in some dramas. And in On Air, I don't have to worry about anything because there are sister Yun Ah and brother Bum Soo who help me a lot. I am also the youngest and the least experience among four main casts in On Air."

When answering about the marriage, Kim Ha Neul says "I don't have many best friends in the entertainment industry. My friends are all normal people, and most of them were married. They live very happy, and I admire them about that. When I have time, I usually drive by myself to visit them, have a meal, and sit together to talk about each other. This is the best way to release my pressure. I don't want my career which will block my way into marriage. I will marry if I meet the right person."

Finally, Kim Ha Neul said that she wished the drama On Air would be successful, and it would make the best shot in her career.

Kim Ha Neul and Yoon Kye Sang played together in the movie "The 6th Year In Love" which will be introduced to Korean audience very soon. In their roles, they are a perfect couple with a sweet love.

In the beginning of the filming, everybody had a rumour about their "true love in fake roles". However, both of them had nothing to say at that time.

Until now, in the interview, Kim Ha Neul ofiicially denied that kind of relationship between Yoon Ky Sang and her. She said "When I heard about this, I was very surprised. Before the filming, I had seen Yoon Kye Sang privately a few times to get to know him better, so we could play our characters that would convince the audience perfectly."

Kim Ha Neul also says that she has a good sentiment for Yoon Kye Sang because they are same age and feel comfortable when talking to each other. However, she never thought that she would love Yoon Kye Sang.
