KBS2 drama "The Slave Hunters" [KBS2]

KBS historical drama "The Slave Hunters" tightened its grip on the small screen this week as the top-rated show continued to attract more viewers.

According to TNS Media Korea on Friday, "Hunters" scored a viewership rating of 33.7 percent on Thursday, surpassing its previous high of 30.8 percent the previous week, to become the most-watched show last night.

The drama has fared well since its premiere on January 6, its ratings breaching the 20 percent mark in its first week of going on air.

Statistics by AGB Nielsen also revealed that the Wednesday and Thursday prime time drama recorded ratings of 32 percent, a 1.2 percent gain from the previous day.

Other evening dramas, MBC's "Woman Who Still Wants to Marry" and SBS's "Will It Snow on Christmas?" trailed behind the traditional drama with ratings of 5.2 and 10.2 percent, respectively

"Hunters" follows the story of slave hunter Dae-gil who is played by Korean actor Jang Hyuk and also stars actor Oh Ji-ho and actress Lee Da-hae.

I have yet to start watching this drama! Will finish Will it snow for Christmas first.

This is about 2 weeks ago but still, stars attended the Puma Fashion Show wearing Puma outfits. Among them were kpop singer, Tiffany, actress Kim Ha Neul and Lee Da Hae.

Tiffany - do you spot her Louis Vuitton bag? She looks like she's ready to go play some tennis.I like her skirt though.

Lee Da Hae - Making Puma wear red carpet ready. I like it show she put the outfit together. It doesn't look like it's from Puma if you don't look at the logo.

Lee Da Hae is initializing a kiss in the elevator with a mysterious man but he refuses her kiss and turns away.No sane man in the world will refuse a kiss from Lee Da Hae I believe. Scandal!



You wish!aha. Lee Da Hae is actually filming a scene in a MV with Taiwanese singer Wilber Pan where he plays her bodyguard.The MV promises to be steamly hot as you can see what Lee Da Hae is wearing. Tight short dress, fishnets and boots.

Lee Da Hae attended the Swarovski Austria in a gorgeous dress and looking healthy. It is not confirmed, but Lee Da Hae and Lee Jun Ki will probably collaborate for a Andree Kim Fashion Show. This will be their first reunion after My Girl.

After quitting East of Eden, Lee Da Hae is relaxing on Samui Island. She seems to be very happy and enjoying her time there.

The last is always the most precious...especially this vacation, time flew by just like that.

Mega drama “East of Eden” seems to be experiencing some internal troubles, as its star Song Seung-heon skipped Wednesday’s reading without any advance notice. The cast of “East of Eden” has held reading sessions every Wednesday.

Some speculate that Song’s absence had to do with the recent bow-out of Lee Da-hye, a female costar. Lee decided to quit the show because, unlike in the original synopsis, her character’s importance in the show was greatly reduced. Consequently, actors and actresses who played Lee’s parents and associates are also likely to be dropped from the show.

The spectacular drama was famous for its star-studded cast featuring Song, Han Ji-hye, Yeon Jeong-hoon, Lee Yeon-hee, and Lee Da-hye, as well as its complicated plot involving babies switched at birth, family rivalry, revenge, and, of course, star-crossed lovers. However, the show recently faced some troubles with ridiculous plot development and late scripts. Some actors voiced their complaints when the show’s main writer came to the reading on Wednesday and the confrontation apparently ended up in a shouting match. The future of this ambitious show is at peril and so is the prospect for its overseas sales.
