Movie Sympathy for Lady Vengeance of famous director Park Chan Wook will be filmed by Hollywood. Actress Charlize Theron has revealed that in a recent interview.
When be asked, the movie's publish company CJ also said that "We have signed a copyright contract from 2005. Everything is still on preparation process. Director and the beginning day of filming of Sympathy for Lady Vengeance American version haven't been choosing. However, it’s sure that actress Charlize Theron will play the character Geumja of Lee Young Ae in Korean version."
When answering the interview, Charlize Theron said "I really interesting in stories about women. I was really happy to be invited to play the leading role in Sympathy for Lady Vengeance Hollywood version. I hope myself will act this character well."
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance talks about the revenge story of a woman who has been in jail unjustly for many years because of murder. This is the nearest working of Lee Young Ae.
